Download Ready-Made DLLs for Grades 7–10 | Week 1 (June 15–19, 2026) | ILAW Format

Junior High School teachers may now access ready-made Daily Lesson Logs (DLLs) for Grades 7–10 for Week 1 of Term 1 under the Three-Term School Calendar for School Year 2026–2027. These instructional materials already follow the ILAW lesson planning format and align with the Enhanced MATATAG Curriculum of the Department of Education (DepEd).

The DLLs aim to help teachers prepare organized and learner-centered lessons during the opening week of classes. Since the first week usually includes classroom orientation, learner adjustment, and routine-setting activities, ready-made lesson logs can help teachers save time and improve classroom preparation.

The materials also support competency-based instruction across different learning areas in Junior High School. Teachers can use them as guides in delivering lessons that promote participation, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking.

What is the ILAW Format?

The available DLLs use the ILAW framework required under the revised instructional structure for the Three-Term School Calendar. ILAW stands for:

  • Intentions
  • Learning Experience
  • Assessment
  • Ways Forward

This format helps teachers organize lessons more clearly. It also ensures that classroom activities, assessments, and intervention strategies remain aligned with the intended learning competencies.

Instead of focusing only on procedures, the ILAW format emphasizes meaningful learning experiences and continuous learner support. Because of this, teachers can monitor learner progress more effectively while improving classroom engagement.

Why Ready-Made DLLs are Helpful

Preparing DLLs for multiple subjects in Junior High School can become challenging, especially during the opening of classes. Teachers also handle orientation activities, classroom management, and learner profiling during this period. Because of this, ready-made DLLs provide practical support for daily instruction.

The materials also help teachers maintain proper lesson pacing under the Three-Term School Calendar. In addition, they support consistency in instructional delivery across grade levels and subject areas.

For Grades 7–10 learners, organized lesson planning is important because classroom discussions already involve deeper concepts, analytical thinking, and performance-based tasks. Through the prepared DLLs, teachers can focus more on learner engagement and classroom interaction.

Aligned with the Three-Term School Calendar

The Week 1 DLLs follow the revised academic structure for SY 2026–2027. They are designed to support classroom instruction during the implementation of the Three-Term School Calendar and the Enhanced MATATAG Curriculum.

These lesson logs help teachers maximize instructional time while ensuring that lessons remain organized, competency-based, and learner-centered. They also provide flexibility for localization and contextualization based on the needs of learners and schools.

Teachers are encouraged to review, improve, and adapt the materials to create more meaningful learning experiences for Junior High School learners throughout the school year.
